We are a church community who loves diversity and welcoming people of every culture and background. Whether you are brand new to the church thing or you’ve been around church for a while; we want to say welcome! Our goal at New Horizon is to create environments and experiences where you can encounter God in the midst of your life. When you come to New Horizon, our aim is that you would be inspired by the music, encouraged by the message, welcomed by our amazing community of people & be reminded that God’s grace is here!
New Horizon has a long history of being a community of people who love God, love their community and desire to be a church that is relevant with an outward focus where all are welcomed.
We believe leadership in the church is meant to reflect the body of Christ- many members working together with humility and mutual trust. Rather than a top-down structure, our church is guided by a collaborative team of leaders (the church board) who seek God together, share responsibility, and make decisions with transparency and prayer. Because of this, you’ll hear a variety of voices teaching and preaching on Sundays as we grow in faith together. Our pastors serve as bi-vocational pastors, meaning they also work in other professions while faithfully leading our church, keeping leadership closely connected to everyday life in our community.
We believe spiritual growth happens as we regularly engage with the Bible. Scripture shapes our understanding of God, forms our character, and guides how we live and love in everyday life. We encourage honest questions, thoughtful study, and practical applications as we grow together.
We are committed to walking alongside one another in real and meaningful ways. We believe faith is not meant to be lived alone. We create space for honesty, vulnerability, and genuine relationships where people can be known, supported, and encouraged.
As we experience God’s love and healing, we are empowered to love others well. We strive to reflect compassion, generosity, patience, and kindness in our church, our homes, and our community.
